Age Group Guidelines
The minimum age to play rugby is five (5) years of age.
A junior age rugby player must be younger than the age group in which he / she is playing as of the 1st of January of the playing year.
For example – A player in the Under 15’s team in 2024 must have been born in 2009 or 2010 with approval from Club Assessor.
2024 AGE GROUPINGS
- Player Born 2019 – Under 6 (will repeat U6 in 2024)
- Player Born 2018 – Under 6
- Player Born 2017 – Under 7
- Player Born 2016 – Under 8
- Player Born 2015 – Under 9
- Player Born 2014 – Under 10
- Player Born 2013 – Under 11
- Player Born 2012 – Under 12
- Player Born 2011 – Under 13
- Player Born 2010 – Under 14 Boys, Under 15 Girls
- Player Born 2009 – Under 15 Boys, Under 15 Girls
- Player Born 2008 – Under 16 Boys, Under 17 Girls
- Player Born 2007 – Under 18 Boys, Under 17 Girls
